So you want to optimise your web pages, but you aren’t sure how best to approach it. Whilst there is no on-size-fits all approach, or a simple checklist for us all to follow, there are a few areas that we would generally cover when optimising the on-page SEO of a typical client:

Technical

Without a clean technical baseline, you will struggle to make any inroads no matter how good your on-page SEO is or how long you spend on it. This will include things like ensuring the website is crawlable and indexable by search engines, that your website loads fast enough to ensure good UX, and that all the key security features of the site work as intended.

You’ll want to ensure that the title tag is optimised, headings contain your primary keyword and are well laid out, that your SEO copy has a good flow, is well-researched, is impactful, that you answer user questions on the page, and much more.
