Dealing With The Capital’s Competition

London is one of the most competitive local search landscapes going, and private sector healthcare is one of the most challenging to break into. It was therefore no small task for us, alongside their small team, to rank for top 1-3 positions difficult in certain areas across London.

We focussed on playing to their strengths to begin with – leaning into locations where they already did quite well to pick up early momentum and quick wins, before optimising the site to go after wider catchments and more competitive locations.

THE CHALLENGES

Working Through a Website Redesign

A few months into the campaign, the client informed us that they were going to undergo a website redesign. This is always a curveball, and decisions like this have the potential to throw a real spanner in the works, especially since they wanted to redesigning key service pages on which lots of work had already been done.

However, we also felt that the site would benefit massively from a slicker, faster, more user-friendly theme. We therefore collaborated with their developers to ensure a seamless redesign process, fixing up post-redesign technical issues such as redirecting old pages to new ones, maintaining rankings and traffic where possible.
